Sandwiched between Cros Parantoux and Aux Reignots on the slopes above Richebourg, this is produced from a single, domaine-owned parcel of 0.39ha. Much of the fruit is fermented as whole clusters, with a gentle extraction and ageing in cask over two winters (20% new). This brings a new level of complexity and depth, with a peppery edge and a rich element that almost suggests a bit of chocolate and coffee. Superb wine. Drinking Window 2024 – 2049.

This is very beautiful, but it’s not at all loud, rather it is quiet and delicate and slowly creeps up on you. Then, suddenly, the backbone of a mighty creature begins to emerge from the deep. Super fine tannins and wonderful mineral freshness at the very precise finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2023. - JS
